OAXACA: WEAVING IMMERSION

We knew without a doubt that our first trip would be to Oaxaca - a place with a rich weaving history that is near and dear to our hearts. We spent a couple days in Oaxaca City soaking up the sights and sounds, visiting markets, historical ruins, and a local women-owned mezcal farm, before venturing to Teotitlán de Valle for a five day, hands-on deep dive into natural dye and traditional loom weaving at Dixza Rugs Native Farm.
